… as a thought triggers an uncounted number of neuron firings, the network and connections form into memory and experience that were once archived in a half foot by half foot goo. As the memory recreates certain emotions, the ejection of hormonal juices sometimes tickles the heart, and sometimes leaves it cold sour, time passes. The speed of neuron and its firings may not be measured in MHz or GHz, but all the same creates an illusion of time, moving together with a hash reality that has an uncorrectable past and an uncertain future. There is no software to upgrade or no patch to install, as the knowledge and experience ever accumulate, ever increasing the inerasable cache that makes one wonders how much more can it takes.. But tick, tick, tick, 486 or whatnot, it is still working.
